and only a few days away from heading home :). Porto was great we had a lot of fun hanging out with the people we had met in Beja. Abi was a filmmaker we met and he showed us all around Porto and told us the town history, and took us to eat traditional food from the region. We had our own personal tour guide, it was so nice of him to spend a few days with us we couldn't thank him enough. On our last day in Porto Abi had arranged a tasting at the Port cellar of a friend, which was really cool. Their cellar isn't open for tours so we were the only ones and spent the afternoon with one of the owners touring the winery and tasting port. There was one room in the cellar, that was built in the 1800's, that had port that dated back to 1806. That's some old stuff but I bet it tastes really good. Now we are in Lisbon and tonight is going to be rough. The people stay out very late in Lisbon it's not uncommon for them to stay out until 9 a.m. Miguel has promised to show me how to drink beer properly, and if Beja is any indication of tonight we won't be home until at least 6 a.m. Luckily our flight doesn't leave until Sunday so we can relax and take it easy on Saturday.
